Do Not Poor Tea Into the Mystery Cup

It's sitting between the teapot and the dirty dishes and you can't remember why.

What secrets does the mystery cup conceal?

You don't remember drinking anything out of that mug, but here it is on the bench. There's some residue in here and it's vaguely brown. Coffee? Doesn't smell like coffee. Could be coffee. You don't remember making a cup of coffee in the last couple of days though.

Boil the kettle. Make the tea. Ponder the cup.

Tea's ready. Whoops, don't pour the tea into the mystery cup! Your tea mug is right here on the other side of the teapot where it always is. It's not even part of that set, it looks completely different. You never use those cups for tea.

Did you make gravy? No. Cup of soup? No.

Pour the tea. Drink the tea. Put the cup back on the bench for next time. Don't sit it next to the mystery cup. Keep them far apart so as to reduce the chance of confusion. You almost made a terrible mistake this time, don't want it to happen next time either. Do not drink tea from the mystery cup.

Oh, it was Vegemite broth. Yeah, you probably don't want the remains of that mixed in with your tea.
