Cheesy spirals

Cheese. Pasta. Vegetables. It's got everything you need.

Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • Flour
  • Olive oil
  • Milk
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Peas, corn and carrots
  • Olives
  • Pepper
  • Tabasco
  • Allspice
  • Salt

Method

  1. Make the pasta according to the normal method.
  2. Mix a quarter cup of flour into 50ml of oil in a big pan then put it on the stove.
  3. Gradually add 2.5 cups of milk, trying to keep it as smooth as possible. Don't be a perfectionist about this, near enough is good enough.
  4. Add some amount of cheese. I just used whatever was left in the bag, so I have no idea how much it was.
  5. Add the frozen peas, corn and carrots. However much of them looks good. You should be mixing all these things in as you add them.
  6. Cut exactly 25 olives in half and throw them in as well.
  7. Add however much pepper, tabasco and allspice you like.
  8. Drain the pasta and stir it in.
  9. Taste it and decide how much salt you're going to add.
  10. Add the salt.
  11. Give it a good mix and let it all heat to a good temperature, then put some in a bowl and eat it.
