ROH Honor For All

Overall rating: ★★★●☆☆☆

The show started well, but the second half was a real letdown. Disappointing matches and confusing storytelling.

  1. Pure Rules (Tracy Williams vs. Taylor Rust)
    ★★★●★☆☆
There was one point where I could have sworn the match was over but then it kept going and I found that a little confusing and disappointing.
  2. Four Corners Survival Match (Holidead vs. Vita Vonstarr vs. Quinn McKay vs. Trish Adora)
    ★★★●★★☆
A fatal four-way with lucha rules (as well as tags, if there are less than two competitors in the ring, whoever gets in first is legal) is a brilliant idea. Love it.
  3. GCW Tag Championship (Second Gear Crew vs. The Briscoes)
    ★★★●★☆☆
I appreciate that they didn't go to extreme or drag this out too long. And there were some cool bits.
  4. #1 Contender Match (Brody King vs. Jonathan Gresham)
    ★★★●☆☆☆
A bit too much outside-the-ring fucking around for my taste.
  5. Tag Championship (The OGK vs. La Faccion Ingobernable)
    ★★★○☆☆☆
Was the ref asleep? Get some control! I'm pretty sure the ending of this match was invalid, but the ref just let it go through. It didn't seem like he'd been bamboozled or anything, he was just incompetent.
  6. No Disqualification (Demonic Flamita vs. Bandido)
    ★★★○☆☆☆
When are they going to get to the fireworks factory cool flips? I expected this one to be amazing, and I was extremely disappointed.
